Classes

ShepNet classes are small (never more than 6 students, each with a computer) with several coaches. Instructors use a projector to demonstrate tasks to be done by students. Questions and discussion are encouraged so that no student gets lost!

Class and other activity schedules are arranged monthly according to volunteer teacher availability. Most meet twice a week (MW or TTh) for three or four consecutive weeks. Morning hours are 9 am to 11:30 am and afternoon hours are 1:30 pm to 4 pm.

The fee for courses is $35; a tutorial guide and other materials are provided. Scholarships are available for students with limited means. Apply to the coordinator.

Tutoring homebound seniors is an outreach project by Greensboro ShepNet volunteers.  If you know someone who might benefit from this service, have them call Linda Collins at 833-2480.
